Description
As part of the pluridisciplinary project of the 3rd year of our school, my team and I have created a digital solution called StartEase. StartEase is a service that allows students to team up and submit their start-up ideas. There are 6 types of users: super admin, student, teacher, internship service, scientific committee, headmaster. Each project is related to an academic establishment, and will have a project holder and a supervisor (teacher) with a team of 6 students at most. The project holder will be able to submit his project to the scientific committee of his establishment, which will accept or reject the project. If the project is accepted, the platform handles the supervising process where the supervisor can add tasks that can be completed by the team. Once the supervisor confirms that the team is ready for a thesis defense, the internship service can create a defense and select teachers as jury members. Once the defense ends, the jury president can publish the results on the platform. As the team leader on this one, I played a role in the definition of software requirements, defining and analyzing the different use cases, defining the architecture then working on the frontend and backend of the platform. I used ReactJS with Tailwind CSS for the UI, and Laravel with MySQL and Vonage API for the backend. The complexity of the project was a great challenge for me and my team, but it was a great opportunity to showcase my development and project management skills, and I think we nailed it on this one !
